Brent Coon & Associates Opens Nashville Office on Music Row
Nashville, Tennessee and Beaumont, Texas – February 19, 2008 – Brent Coon & Associates, PC (www.bcoonlaw.com), one of the largest trial law firms in the country, has opened its 17th office in Nashville, Tennessee. The new office is located on Nashville’s storied Music Row at 1102 17th Ave. South, Suite 305.
Brian Herrington will be the managing office attorney in Nashville. Currently a co-managing attorney for the Jackson, Mississippi office of Brent Coon & Associates, Herrington is well known for managing hundreds of asbestos and silica cases, as well as numerous class action lawsuits involving consumer issues, antitrust matters, and litigation involving insurance, workplace chemical exposure, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.
Brent Coon, founder of Brent Coon & Associates, LLC stated, “We are excited about the opportunity to bring our legal services to Tennessee. We have worked with a number of firms here for many years and having a physical office now will increase the level of expertise we can provide. As the fastest growing and one of the most successful law firms in the country, our Nashville office will provide us with the ability to network directly with attorneys practicing here in our major fields of litigation. In addition, the new office provides further diversification into the area of entertainment law.
“With 17 litigation and practice offices from coast to coast, we bring a high level of competency, sophistication, integration and capital to complex litigation. We are the perfect partners for joint ventures and referrals through other qualified law firms around the country,” Coon added.
The Nashville office also plans to be proactive in working with other Tennessee trial lawyers in their efforts to maintain the integrity of the civil justice system in Tennessee. To that end, BCA has already joined the Tennessee Association of Justice’s (“TNAJ”) Circle of Advocates, which helps fund the Association’s lobbying efforts.
“As a truly national law firm, we are excited about having a physical presence in Tennessee. Because Nashville is centrally located, and is the state capital, it is the ideal city in which to set up shop,” Herrington explained. “We look forward to continuing to work with the lawyers here in Tennessee with whom we have long-standing relationships as well as cultivating and establishing new ones.”
Coon also announced that Coondog Productions, LLC (www.coondogproductions.com), a full-service global entertainment company which produces large-scale live touring concerts and special events, opened an office in Nashville. Coondog shares space with BCA at the Music Row office.
“Concurrently opening a Nashville office of Coondog Productions, our highly successful promotions/production company, provides even greater potential in the fast growing field of entertainment and entertainment law,” concluded Coon.
